Interesting glazed and hand-painted Japanese footed ceramic pottery urn or vase with raised relief of cherubs and an outdoor scene.
Two different scenes of the relief cherubs surround this glazed pottery ceramic vase or urn. Interesting vessel for display of dried or live flowers, or as an individual showpiece of Japanese pottery.
An interesting mix of highlight colors were used such as blue and green over a rust color. The urn or vase itself is a creamy white with black handles, decorative trim along the footed base and along the neck of this vase or urn.
The inside is also glazed and is in very clean unstained condition. There is crazing of the glaze along the neck of this vase or urn, and a bit on the underside of the base.
The bottom of this vase or urn is marked on the base MADE IN JAPAN and measures 4-1/2" high and 4" wide and weighs 7-1/2 ounces.
