Antique silver plate flat handle butter spreader knife in the BOUQUET pattern by Rogers Cutlery Co. / R.C.CO. (c. 1924) This pretty silver butter spreader knife with ornate decoration of the butter knife handle, extended down the length of the handle outline.
Rogers Cutlery Co. was founded in 1871 and consolidated with Wm. Rogers Mfg. Co. of Hartford, Connecticut in 1879. Rogers Cutlery Co. was one of the original companies to become part of the International Silver Company in 1898.
The antique silverplate is in very good condition, with only a few tiny spots of discoloration noted in the photos above. Normal usage marks expected with a piece of this age that has been used. This antique silver butter knife would be a fine addition to any of the antique silver butter dishes we offer, as well as being a nice addition to your silver flatware collection. The butter spreader knife measures 5.75" and weighs 0.8 ounces. Touchmarked on the back of the butter knife handle with R.C.CO. BOUQUET PLATE.
