This heavy-duty silver plate flatware 2-piece carving set features a heavy 2-prong meat serving fork, measuring 10.5" long and weighing 3.8 ounces with stainless steel prongs. There is a moderate amount of silverplate wear on the handle, and spots of discoloration to the fork tines. No rust noted.
The matching heavy-duty silver plate knife sharpener measures 13.5" long and weighs 6.6 ounces. The silverplate is in much better condition on the knife sharpener than on the fork, but some discoloration is noted to the sharpening end. The point is very sharp.
At one time, this unmarked silver plate carving set also had a matching carving knife, which has been separated from this estate set over the years. There are still many years of usage remaining on both the silverplate meat serving fork and the silver plate knife sharpener. A nice "second" set to have on hand.
