Vintage hand-pieced polyester quilted throw or toss pillow 14" square made with colorful squares of fabric set on a diagonal in the GRANDMOTHER'S PRIDE pattern (c. 1960's). We've been informed that this quilt pattern is called "Grandmother's Pride" though some have called it "Domino and Square".
This vintage quit pillow was made by my aunt during her sewing/quilting period of the mid 1950's - early 1970's. This hand-made quilt toss pillow or throw pillow has been stored in a dresser drawer for at least 18 years- since her death.
This hand-stitched and hand-pieced vintage quilt throw or toss pillow is in excellent condition with no stains, odors or other damage to note. The colors represented on each side (slightly different) are: brown, red, red on red pattern, gold, navy, dusty light grape with light gray honeycomb pattern, navy and gray houndstooth with green and navy squares and a gray, tan and lime green floral pattern.
