Gorgeous vintage Cobalt Blue German Beer stein 0.5L with the German saying, "Ein froher Gast ist niemand's last" - which roughly translates to "A Happy Guest is No One's Trouble." Extremely good condition with only two tiny glazing pops noted - one on the outside just under the lip, the other on the inside. No other damage to note including crazing, cracks or repairs. The front panel of this half-liter vintage German beer stein features in raised relief a woman sitting on a man's lap, who is holding a pipe at a table surrounded by vines and edelweiss with the humorous German saying split up on both sides within banners. Gorgeous color! The sturdy wide applied handle has decorative scrolls on each side.
