This vintage sterling silver Catholic rosary by Creed features multi faceted crystal glass iridescent cleasr crystal beads with a beautiful iridescent Aurora Boreas (aurora borealis) finish. Marked CREED STERLING on the back of the sterling silver crucifix.
The sterling silver crucifix is slender and thin with INRI on the top of the cross and marked "CREED STERLING" on the backside. The center medallion has a deep relief portrait of the Madonna. The backside of the center medallion has a shallow relief portrait of Jesus with a heart and is also marked "CREED STERLING".
This is a very well made Catholic rosary that feels great in your hands. It has nice heft without being heavy, and the faceted glass iridescent beads are large and distinct enough to not lose your place as you get lost in prayer.
This vintage Creed Sterling Silver Roman Catholic ROSARY weighs 48 grams (1.7 ounces), the beads measure approximately 3/8", the sterling silver crucifix measures 1-7/8" x 1-1/16, 1/2 centimeter, 16.5" in length (33") with a 4.25" drop from the center medallion. The back of the crucifix is engraved with the initials "M. C. C." and a date of 6 - 12 - 55.
